Interview Outfit!

I don't usually take pictures of my outfits or clothes, but today I couldn't help myself :)

Wow, I feel ridiculous posting all these pictures of myself.  I guess that's what happens when you do a self portrait....

Dorothy and I were bored yesterday, so we went to the beach for some picture-taking fun.  The light was weird, but I got a few good cloud pics and some cool reflection shots that I actually REALLY like.  Enjoy :)

Birds of Paradise

Here are the outtakes from the Bird of Paradise picture posted to 365 on Feb 7th.  This was one of the first times I got to use my new camera, and also my first editing work with Adobe photoshop lightroom (I just have the trial version).  Can't decide if I like lightroom yet, although it really doesn't even matter considering I definitely do not have enough money to buy it... Oh well.

 Turned out blurry, so I tried a bit of a watercolor effect...

Photo Shoot!

Woke up early this morning and took my Roomie to the canyon to take some cool pictures with my NEW CAMERA.... only to get there and realize that my camera was D.E.A.D.!!! :(   So we went back home, grabbed her panasonic, and shot away!

Unfortunately the lighting was bad (the sun was coming from the wrong direction for the pretty background, but it was the only free time we had to shoot) and I couldn't figure out how to edit the clouds darker without like, BUYING photoshop (and I am waaaayyy too poor for that), so unfortunately, they aren't as good as they could have been :(  Sometimes, life just works against you.  Ohhhh well.

I actually really love the colors, it just turned out completely different than what I was expecting... Can't have expectations, just gotta let the subject make the picture, I guess..


This was a random throw away photo that I snapped, but I love the way it turned out post-editing.  Just shows you should NEVER delete a picture until you see it on your screen :)

Model status!

Dark and dreary... just like today ended up being!!

I kind of cheated, since I haven't actually put one up on 365proj yet, and thus these aren't really the rejects..... I CAN'T DECIDE!! 

My Poor Ring :(

From Valentine's Day.  I was trying to photograph my sad, sad, broken ring (the stone is missing).  Unfortunately, the lighting was pretty bad, but whatever...

New Camera!

The theme this week on 365proj is "Your Heart" so I wanted to take some pictures of me <3ing my new CAMERA!!! I also played around a bit with the different settings, although nothing too complex, considering I am JUST JUST learning how to use it. I can only get better from here!
